Quick Start Guide

Setting up Access Log for Confluence is very easy. You should follow the simple steps described below.

1. Install Plugin into Your Confluence

Installation procedure is absolutely the same as for all Confluence plugins.

The easiest way is to use Atlassian's UPM to automatically install Access Log for Confluence from the Atlassian Marketplace.
This option requires neither Confluence restart nor access to Confluence server file system.

2. Generate a Trial License

Immediately after installaton, generate a trial license in Confluence interface using my.atlassian.com

3. Start Using the Plugin

To see the plugin in action try viewing or editing some pages. After that go to 'Administration > System > Access Log' and see your content access tracked.

4. Configure Access Log for Confluence

Access Log for Confluence works out of the box. You don't need to do any configuration. However, you can tune add-on parameters for best result in your circumstances in Configuration screen.
